I love Crawford's suit! The US have gone downhill since the mid-to-late '90's....

I know what you mean, I guess the Phantom's taylor went missing somewhere in Paris.

Those US costumes are baggy and need a good steaming. What ever happened to the short jacked sleves Crawford inplemented?

Mind you London has that very distracting velvet cuffs and collar.

All the coats have the velvet collar. Not all of the London coats have had the velvet cuffs though. And, now that I think about it, the German coat that I have actually had the regular fabric for the cuff, but then was covered with the velvet after the cuff got worn out a bit. So it could just be that certain coats are wearing out.

Anyone have any Rebecca Luker pics? Doesn't matter which scene or costume.

Browsed through my German Phantom brochures today, in search of good Aminta pictures. And I realized that many of the photos from the early Hamburg brochures has not been online, or not in very good quality. Most are from the early 90's, some from the early 2000's (Stuttgart).

3. Thomas Schulze/Colby Thomas, one of the most beautiful MOTN pictures I know of. It's from a brochure cover.
4. Schulze/Thomas, from a Hamburg flyer cover. I love this one too.
5. Closeup of picture 2. This is my absolute favourite when it comes to Hannibal "collar" and dressing gown combo. All the gold studded with gems looks so rich! I know some find it too dominating, but I adore it.
6. Tim Tobin and Renée Knapp, Hamburg. They are so pretty! (...but a bit Ken-and-Barbie pretty in this photo...)
7. Renée Knapp and a Raoul I always forget the name of, from Hamburg.




8. Colby Thomas in an awesome, two-page spread, it was impossible to photograph well. From Hamburg.
9. Close-up of Christine's boudoir props, also Hamburg.
10. Christine fainting in MOTN. Don't remember if it was Hamburg or Stuttgart this one came from.

3. and 4. Colby Thomas in WYWSHA. I think both photos are posed. The Wishing dress she wears has the same beaded front as the Hamburg dress I have in my care.

5. Marcello Ronchietto as Piangi, in Hamburg. Not sure who the Passarino is.
6. Gypsy/Meg flirting with Don Juan/Piangi, Hamburg.
7. A posed picture, with Meg finding the dead Piangi.




8. Also posed, from the same program as the Meg one, with Aminta (Colby Thomas) "partying" with the Don Juan cast.
9. Colby Thomas in another Aminta shot, from a later brochure. She wears a different dress, which was later used by Janine Kitzen in Stuttgart and Anne Görner in Essen. I modeled much of the details of my own replica after this one, especially the golden front and the stomacher. It got an apron in Stuttgart, which I also love.




10. How's this for spooky, cloaked Phantom? From the original Hamburg brochure. Notice that he wears it "Crawford style", with the hood only partially covering his face. But this one has some sort of stiffening in the hood to make it stay in place, it seems.




11. Final lair trio, with Colby Thomas as Christine (Hamburg, mid or late 90s).
12. From a double-page picture of the mob chasing after the Phantom and Christine.
13. Original Hamburg meg finding the mask in the end scene.




14. Various props from the Hamburg production. In front the Don Juan table, in the back the MOTn mirror.
15. The facade of Neue Flora in Hamburg, which was especially built to house Phantom.
16. The German programs usually features a picture of the orchestra. I loved this one, where many are posing with their instrument.

So many great pictures. I love that they included a photo of the orchestra. They're really such an important part of the show and deserve to have their photos in there as much as the actors.

Anea! Those pictures are truly GORGEOUS. Thank you for sharing! (I might take a few of these to make some amazing icons. So much un-seen staging in normal brochure pictures.)

I used to have one or two other photos of Jeff and I know they survived the crash...I just can't find them right now.

But to have someone dressed as the Phantom sitting next to me... hot damn.

Thanks a bunch for those German pics. They are utterly to die for. But ESPECIALLY for the Final Lair Trio and the one of Colby in PONR, I've been looking for some decent sized pics of those for ages.

Did you cry afterwards? I swore I would never EVER be one of those obnoxious fangirls who cried after meeting my "idol"... but then I did.
And it was pathetic. And I was laughing at myself whilst crying and being all pathetic. It was an odd, funny moment. lol

Na, not really the crying type But as it was happening, the thought "Hmm... this is unusual," followed several seconds later by, "umm... is she gonna let go now?" did run through my head.
