Media sharing sites and journal sites (FB, LJ etc) are all very well for day to day conversations, but not for continuous discussions or sharing/searching for information.

I'd hate to see sites like this one disappear. Things may be slower/calmer at the moment, but different fandoms/interests have their peaks and valleys. There was a massive rise in interest for Phantom after the 2004 movie came out, because the story was made available to so many.... I doubt we'll see the likes of it again. It had its drawbacks, too.

I too like some of the offerings a forum can have, I will say though since joining Tumblr I have come across so many rare and exciting pieces of media related to Phantom than I have on any other media-sharing platform.

Hello! I belong to another forum phantomoftheopera.com but through there I found this wonderful site! I am selling most of my Phantom collection on eBay and one of the moderators of phantomoftheopera.com suggested that I advertise it here too! I will post to USA, Canada and Europe. I am based in the UK. As I've only just found out about this site, most of my items only have 2-4 days left, however, I will be listing more items soon.

Don't be afraid to ask a seller whether they would consider posting abroad - I do it all the time, with a 90% success rate.. Some sellers don't think to set their options to sell abroad, and others are happy to make an exception if you ask politely and say you are happy to pay full postage.

Oh, I already did, but the seller only ships to Germany since she only accepts bank deposits or cash on delivery for the items. So... it's really a lost cause for me, which is why I posted it here for other people to have a go at it.

I am currently selling a souvenir brochure (Seoul, South Korea) that's from the World Tour of this year. It's the stop in South Korea. Brochure is brand new with only a few fingerprints on the cover.

Hi everyone.

I've decided to start thinning out my collection of Phantom stuff. I want to offer stuff up for sale here before I resort to eBay. I'm still working through the particulars about which items I'm going to sell. I already know I'm going to take a loss on most of these, but such is life when collecting.

The first item up for sale is the Phantom's Chinese hat. I'm not sure who wore the hat I have, but according to the previous owner, it was acquired in NY in the mid 90's. I can provide pics via email as I no longer have a photobucket account. I'm looking to get $250 for this hat. I know that might seem high, but the hat is $650 brand new. This one is in great shape. PM me for details. Payment via PayPal only. More items to follow in the coming weeks.
