Broadway Cares Flea Market 9/23/12
Since it seems there is a bit of curiosity regarding the items on sale for the flea market this year, I thought I would do my best to create a list from memory. Stephanie and I were in front of the table around 9:10 am and boxes were just starting to be opened and unloaded at that time. There were really only 2 plastic totes containing props, plus the box containing all the Raoul hats. (Thus, a much smaller lot than last year.)
The list, in no particular order is as follows (Stephanie, please jump in if I forgot anything important)
• Box full of black Raoul hats from Vegas
• 3 posterboards from Vegas: 2 with arrows under the logo, 1 with “thank you for not smoking”
• Small box full of "Venetian", "What’s On" and "Las Vegas" magazines featuring articles on the Vegas production (maybe 15 in total)
• Programs from the Vegas opening production
• Signed Vegas cast photos from final show (given to Golden Circle attendees the night of the final show)
• 1 Vegas POTO poker chip set
• 25th Royal Albert Hall banner
• Box of 10,000th performance programs
• At least 4 wedding bouquets (never got an accurate count, since boxes kept getting opened up and, hey, there’s another one)
• Il Muto rosettes (pretty slim pickings: there was a HUGE Ziploc bag of them last year)
• Il Muto ballet bow (only one: several were available last year)
• Several Degas hair bows
• 2 mirror bride wedding dress bows
• Mirror bride gloves (I only saw 2, there may have been more)
• 2 pairs of white Christine shoes (didn’t see the size, but they were tiny)
• 1 pair ballet slippers, signed
• 3 Piangi knives from Hannibal (1 intact, 2 with the blade broken)
• Strands of chandelier beads
• Black right hand from a Masquerade mannequin
• 3 large plastic tassels (not sure where those came from)
• A pillow from the Don Juan bed
• Many green feather “pens”
• 2 Don Juan scores (that the Phantom uses before the unmasking)
• Buquet’s rope noose (although the loop was cut: for safety’s sake, I suppose?)
• 3 goblets (one broken at the base) from Masquerade
• 1 wedding veil
• 1 white smoking pipe in two pieces
• A gold painted multi-point star with a round plastic jewel in the center (from Hannibal? It was never really identified.)
• 1 POTO crew member black polo shirt
• 1 POTO black robe
• 4 baseball jerseys worn by James Romick
• 5 (or so) black XL t-shirts with the mask outlined in black on the front
• 10 (or so) gray t-shirts with “Broadway” across the front
Plus the usual:
• Sets of notes
• Newspapers from the auction
• Programs, playbills, cast photos, posters, cast name sliders
• Miscellaneous items from other Broadway shows

Thanks, GoblinsOrShoes, for posting that list of the POTO items at this year's BCEFA Flea Market. An interesting mix of stuff...and I think it's great that they had some items from PLV there too.

I'm already planning to go next year. First time! So, this list was pretty helpful to me on what to expect! Thanks!
