a technical/electronic question Why does a color copier drink as much ink as
here is an electronic question;
the copier that I use is a color copier, it has a cartrige for Yellow, Blue, and Magenta(Red) and black, even if you print all black pages, it still drinks up the other colors, why is that so,

Unless you set it to print in black, black will be made of the other colors, so it'll be a chromatic black. If it's a color copier, its default setting is probably color. You'll notice that if, say, the yellow is running out, what should be black prints as a sort of purple (blue and magenta without the yellow).

This might be more of a rant, but my office manager bought a new copier and it takes as long to print a color or black and white page like the older model that we had in the office, should newer technology print faster.?
it takes about 55 seconds to print one page is that normal.?
