Other than obviously having heard Defying Gravity, Popular, and For Good (and having sung DG and FG in a choral medley last summer), this was my first experience with the show, and though it took me a few songs to get into it, I ended up absolutely loving it. The cast on this tour is incredible, led by my high school classmate Laurel Harris as Elphie; I got to go say hello at the stage door afterwards. But Carrie St. John, John Davidson, Ashley Parker Angel, and the actors who played Mme. Morrible and Prof. whatshisface are all top-notch, and Schwartz's book is awesome. I love the satire of the Bush Administration that comprises most of the second half.
