Phantom board game

What's stopping you??? My family would have a fit if I got this and made them play it

So has anyone else bought this game? I've played it a couple of times and I don't see how you can ever win if you play as the Phantom rather than as the investigator...

A friend bought me this game for Christmas. I won once at the Phantom, the very first time we played. After that, my husband won every game as either side because he's a better strategizer....and very competitive   

Despite the anime-style box, I love the imagery of the game with the cross-cut Opera Garnier and that it's based on Leroux, although I wish the Phantom were a true character.

Since I have yet to construct my own Phantom-themed board games, I'm definitely considering purchasing one of these.
