I´ve seen it twice in London and loved it. A very personal and little theatre. I felt so closed to all. Great performers. Loved every minute.

Kind of got away from all things Phantom and forum posting.
Realize this is a late post but I saw the Pittsburgh CLO production this past June with Ron Bohmer starring. I really enjoyed it. Did not like all the music but so loved the story. Think this version really develops the character of Erik/Phantom so much more. It was nice to see some of the backstory of the Phantom in more detail (such as who his father is, etc) and also the growing "relationship" of the Phantom and Christine. I also really liked the duet of Erik and his father.
