More Phantom Art
Hello!
Seeing Melly's beautiful drawings and also all the other talented people here (Raphael, I love your Phantoons! They're wonderful. ) has prompted me to share some of my own Phantom artwork. I hope you enjoy it.
Although I have a graphics tablet, all of these pieces were initially produced the old fashioned way as I don't find the tablet as responsive as pencil and paper. When I'm finished sketching I scan them and use the tablet to add the colour in Photoshop. I usually have multiple pictures scattered around for poses and costume reference.
A couple have been inspired by the antics of JOJ and Killian Donnelly :
I saw the show twice last year and have become a little obsessed, so there are plenty more at my deviantArt account:

Re: More Phantom Art
Another talented artist finding the way to this board. Welcome! I love your style, and that "Guitar hero" one made me giggle. I like!
Re: More Phantom Art
Thank you! The Guitar Hero one was just begging to be done.
I find your costume site absolutely invaluable, by the way; such a treasure trove of detail! I'm always popping over there to check one thing or another.

Re: More Phantom Art
operafantomet's costume site is a blessing to all us phan artists
Very nice work, charleygirl I'm always happy to see more artists sharing their work here. I'm very much like you - I do 90% of my art using traditional methods and then bring them into the computer to finish them off. Although I'm now trying my hand at Corel Painter's tools to see if I can do a few things in there as well.

Thanks, Raphael. That means a lot coming from someone whose work I admire.

Thanks for adding me to your watch list - I've returned the favour. Your eighteenth century-set work is gorgeous.
I haven't particularly drawn ballerinas before, so I was relieved that one came out quite well. I may have a go at one of the Degas girls next.
Re: More Phantom Art
The first image of the Phantom that you posted in the original post is *awesome*. Love it, love it, love it!

Re: More Phantom Art
A silly little expression of my disappointment at there being no Masquerade staircase on the new tour.
Re: More Phantom Art
A few new pieces.

I adore your work. It's different and yet, it delivers. Love the 'Dueling Suitors'.
