I've officially graduated high school! Actually, I graduated about a week and a half ago, but it's still pretty exciting. I'm hoping my parents will take me to NYC as a graduation gift (it goes without saying that we'll be seeing Phantom, among a few other shows). They keep mentioning it like it's a sure thing, but we haven't made any definite plans.

but I remember many of you (Paula, Operafantomet, SenorSwanky, etc.) because I used to partipate in previous forums dedicated to PotO (but I can't remember my previous username, lol) so it was a miracle when I finally found you all in this little community cheers

also, I'd like to apologize if I make some mistakes because English is not my first language (spaniard phan here)

So a bit belated, but how 'bout those Rangers, huh? Feeling much better about their chances of winning the World Series this year. I honestly think they have a better team, despite the loss of Cliff Lee.

On another note, I'm hopefully going to see West Side Story this weekend in Dallas. Smile

Remind me again why I thought it was a good idea to go see a show during the final weekend of the fair? It was great (West Side Story)... or at least what we saw of the show. We got to the fair grounds on time, but it took us an hour to park and get to the theatre, so we ended up missing a good part of the first act. But nothing quite beat walking back to the car. It literally took us an hour to get from the theatre back to the car. So... Never again.

Yeah. That theater on the Dallas fairgrounds? I know your pain. I've done that a few times. I came from Austin to see POTO there. When the fair was on (it was many, many years ago, though. I think Ted Keegan was the Phantom at that time?) But yeah. Who in their right mind decided to have a theater, the Cotton Bowl AND the fair all in one freakin' place?!
