Because this thread is always so much fun.

This one hasn't been posted before. I just saw it for the first time today and couldn't stop laughing.



It's Hugh Panaro as Rooster in a dinner theatre production of Annie. Don't have the exact year, but he would have been around 20-21 there. And the lady is his mom.

I don't know what cracks me up more...Hugh's RAWRRR expression or the hair.

And that picture of Michael Ball looks suspiciously like a guy I always see in the supermarket...

That picture of Michael Ball always make me laugh. Love Hugh's hair in that picture.

Rebecca and Colm with an MC dartboard she made for him.

MC is my fav Phantom so I'm kind of appalled by this.

Oh, it's all in good fun. Colm and MC are both great, fun-loving people who I'm sure don't have any ill will toward each other. They reside at the top two spots of my favorites list, depending on my mood (closely followed by Steve Barton, Davies Gaines, and Peter Karrie); I grew up a huge MC fan, but was wowed a few years ago with further exposure to Colm's Phantom.

I'm sure MC would find this funny as well. When I got a letter and signed photo back when I tried to join the MCIFA in the mid-90s, Michael (or his staff) joked that if I didn't like the photo, he heard it would make a nice dartboard.

Yes, MC apparently has a very self-depreciating sense of humor, I'm sure he'd take this sort of thing in good stride. I'm pretty sure Wilkinson meant no harm by it either.

That's what I was thinking. Maybe a lot of people thought they'd be seeing MC, or maybe it was because of all the attention MC got in the press for originating the role when Colm did the workshop. Keep in mind, also, that Caine presented it to Colm, and Caine worked with MC in the London production, so I'm sure she also doesn't have ill will toward her former castmate.

Actually on the facebook group Rebecca runs she posted a pic of her and Michael in London, she put a not so nice caption about him under the picture.

Yes, I'd be interested to see that. Makes me wonder about Caine, though, if she's had problems with two generally very well liked leading men.

OK, take the speculations elsewhere.

We don't know what the case is here (I honestly think it was an inside joke), and I don't think the picture is representative on how Rebecca Caine viewed her run with Crawford in London. Either how, she is not here to explain and defend herself, so I think we should leave the discussion dead (or use PMs).

Yeah, I didn't mean to start speculation, because normally I'm one to dampen it. Sorry about that.

After viewing the Facebook comments Callie Daae sent me, I'm not sure what to think. She certainly hasn't made any outright, blatant comments about either Colm or MC, and in fact, she's a member of a group calling Colm the best Phantom ever.
