Re: Anybody still here?
Still here, but most Phantom traffic has moved to Facebook. I've posted a link to the forum there, and suggested that for some purposes, a classic forum is better than a FB discussion where posts fall off the bottom of the page and get lost.

Re: Anybody still here?
I and some Facebook friends have been thinking that we'd like to get back to the classic forum format. But is this forum still working? It looks like it's 4 years since anyone joined. The two listed admins don't appear to have been on the site for years. As an existing member, I can still post. But can anyone new join? A friend of mine has applied and is waiting for approval.
Does anyone have information about forum activity?

Re: Anybody still here?
Good news, MarySkater. This admin finally found his missing login credentials and just mass-activated the backlog of new user requests. I'm going to review the current state of the forum for anything that requires clean-up. I'll also be in touch with some of the other admins to see if there's interest in resurrecting this site.

Re: Anybody still here?
Good to hear it. I still refer to the forum, especially some of the detailed descriptions that were posted of the "restaged" tour. Do notifications go out to people who had been waiting for approval to join? That will give you a core of potentially-interested people.

Yes, I heard back from someone who got an email notification not long after I approved everyone.

Re: Anybody still here?
Hello! This is my first forum post here and my first forum post anywhere since the demise of the old Aria bulletin board (wow that was a lifetime ago). Would be great too have some good old school text-based discussions again!

New sections
I think there's scope for some new main headings. "The Broadway Production + US Tour" is now well out of date, because the last US tour was hugely different from the Broadway show. Maybe have an exclusive Broadway section, and a separate one for "The Laurence Connor Restaged Production." I had hoped that the latter was dead and buried, but it's going to be used again in Sydney. (What a waste of a real Opera House! )

Re: Anybody still here?
I guess we should count ourselves lucky that the UK tour staging isn't Laurence Connor at least! A separate discussion of that version probably makes sense, assuming there is anyone out there...

Admin Raphael should be getting email notifications of these messages. Allowing for time differences (he's US West Coast) and whatever other demands there are on his time, we'll see what he thinks.

Re: Anybody still here?
The 25th Anniversary Restaged Tour (as well as other non-replica productions) do deserve their own topics. I'll start a couple of new threads. But everyone's welcome to start new topics if they like. Just take a quick look to make sure it isn't already covered so people can benefit from past posts.

I'm here, have been lurking on and off but not posting.... I agree with Mary Skater, that a forum like this might be a better place for discussions than FB.

I'm afraid I haven't been practising what I preached. (Well, if that's good enough for the Prime Minister... ) I should check my files and see if I can find something worth posting, even if it has already been on FB.Jennie wrote:I'm here, have been lurking on and off but not posting.... Re: Anybody still here?
Hi Mary! Nice to "see you" around :-) Please do see if you have anything to share from FB. I am suffering from Phantom withdrawal, the latest blow is that the Kristianstad production has been postponed a year. Again.
ETA: practising what you preach and parties.... oh goodness what a shambles! And what is so bad about resigning??? Our latest prime minister resigned after a few hours, and got right back in the saddle.... mind you, that was because of some political formalities thingy stuff, not secret partying while Rome burnt.
