PhantomCon 2015 - Richmond, VA (8-9 Aug)

So....This is a thing: PhantomCon in Richmond, Virginia, 8-9 August 2015

Figured I'd put it here in case anyone was in the Mid-Atlantic area and interested in attending something Phantom-oriented. Right now I'm scheduled to host a costuming panel with a few esteemed Phantom costumers, as well as a makeup workshop, but other than that, I have no idea how exactly this thing is going to go. The organizers have lined up a few authors (including the author of Trap-Door Maker), an opera singer (?), and me? I think? Probably more to come. And I'm bringing a Posse Of Excellence.

As for the rest of it, I really don't know. Might be fun?

I'm a little over 2 hours south.

I've heard of this event! Unfortunately I'm across the country in Arizona which is way too far to travel. I hope this is a success! The masked ball sounds like a lot of fun.

Thought I'd post an update: actress Kimilee Bryant has been booked for PhantomCon. She will perform, do a Q&A, sign autographs, and partake in the guest breakfast.

Also very happy to announce that Viscountess Costuming and Design will be joining me on the costuming panels on Saturday and Sunday! For all the costuming geeks in the area, come on out and say hi!
