Server errors

Someone please tell me that I'm not the only one who gets this screen constantly:



If so, does this mean we'll have to move again?

Seems they upgraded some stuff last night, I couldn't access at all until just now. I HOPE that was it - do you keep getting that message now?

Hmmm.... might take all weekend to fix this issue, seems like forumotion is changing servers and is in the process of moving all their stuff:

No Scorp, you are not alone. I've been getting them as well. Sometimes I can log in, sometimes I can't.
Thanks to operafantomet's explanation, at least I know I'm not going crazy.

Now I'm even getting error messages over at YouTube....

It's a plot, I tell ya! A plot!

Whatever maintenance they're doing with this board, I hope they get done with it...and soon. Sometimes it is taking me two or three attempts to even log in. By the time I get logged in, I've forgotten what it was I wanted to post.

Forum has been acting better today, I pray it will last... It's been so annoying to visit here for the last two days (and I say that being the forum owner....), and the last thing we need is such a mess.

"Luckilly" it isn't only us, but all forumotion forums, so I don't think it's an evil plot to split the phandom. And as we've proved already, we're not that easy to break! He-he.

Good question! I had trouble with Facebook on and off all weekend and BroadwayWorld is down this morning.

I have a tiny little heart attack each time I get the dreaded "server error" here...quite a few times today.

I've experienced the same with Facebook, and also another site. And when even YouTube started acting crazy, if felt like the whole Internet was collapsing... Obviously it isn't, but I wonder if web companies has started being more selective on what sites to priority, I read some articles about that the other day. Ooooh, conspiracy theories!

However, I'm only getting some very few error messages on this board now, maybe two a day. Seems like things are stabilizing.

The forum seems to be in bad mode again today...

I've seen several complaining about loosing their posts cause the forum goes blank/got server errors. That IS crap! Best advice as of now is to copy each entry before hitting the "post" button. In case the site goes blank, you'll have what you've written and can re-post it later one (if you've really patient, that is...).

I seriously hope this server thing will be sorted out soon. I don't like the feeling of the forum being so unstable.

(ETA - it just happened with me. VERY glad I copied the text in advance, or else I would be one pissed admin...)
