I should do something like this too since I don't intend on really writing a review. It won't be as exciting though. Except for maybe costume night.

After an epic 30-minute check-in at Harrah's (and we were the only ones in line! WHAT! I don't know what went on, the lady was crazy) we finally got to our room.

What was up with that?

As usual on Phantom trips, I say things that unknowingly turn into hilarious sexual innuendos. Danielle was trying to copy down the funny stuff I said, like “Yeah, let's just shove it right in there” and “MMM, I like a lot of meat!” - LOL! I swear it's unintentional about 90% of the time.

That's a pretty nice view!

We had lots of tickets in the orchestra already, so we wanted to get some cheap [HAH] seats in the balcony for just one performance. But they weren't offering any promo codes at the box office, so we were trying to cheat it out by getting tickets online on my phone. “Should I try the 69 one?” was another innocent thing uttered out of my mouth at the time. (Hey! Not my fault the code was MEZZ69)

Yeah, when I was buying a few more last-minute tickets for some folks I was told they stopped all the discount codes for the last week of performances. My club membership got me $40 off certain sections, but that was the best they could get me.

KA! Holy sh*t! Um. I don't even know what to say! I sat with Phantom on a Budget & phantomfett and we were super close to the stage, (row F I believe, for “WOW that's F*in close to the stage!”) and it was crazy! The auditorium was enough to go O_O and the show was just insane. I was blown away by the performers, they were so dedicated, and so talented. The costumes & special effects were awesome too!

That's a great show! Although Phantom's now gone, should you ever be in Vegas again, I'd recommend you see Absinthe @ Caesar's Palace. I have a feeling you'd enjoy it

We met a group of phans in the Harrah's lobby (I don't know everyone's s/n on here!) and walked over to The Venetian in costume. FOR THE WIN. Yeahhh! We got some stares, but 50% of people in Vegas are in costume anyway, so it's nothing compared to doing this in other places – NOTHING.

Let's see, if that was your entire group I met in the lobby while I was waiting to drop off the cast farewell cards and sneak operafantomet's Elissa skirt backstage, they were Georgia (I don't think she's a member here yet), Danielle (obviously), and PhantomOfTheSalle. Did you walk on the Strip or take the shortcut through the parking garages?

Then EPIC CRAZY COSTUME PHAN PHOTOS with tons of people we didn't know! And causing a commotion in the Phantom lobby, hooray! This was so crazy and fun! So many cameras and flashes!

Yup, pretty much exactly what happened during Phantom Fans Week

I'm bummed we didn't get a professional group photo like planned, but we did get to stay behind after the show and they didn't kick us out of the lobby at all.

Yeah, I was disappointed as well. But the traffic on the lobby staircase was too busy by the time we had all arrived.

and we decided to do a little photoshoot. That turned into a longer photoshoot, which also turned very innappropriate, LOL!

That was fun Too bad we didn't have a lot of space for the actual shoot!

I don't know how she did it or where she found it, but my roomie Danielle SAVED me that night. I felt guilty but begged her to find me some meds after she was done frolicking with the phans & actors – and oh god, thank god she pulled through for me – I woke up at 4am a horrible, coughing mess and there was the medicine right next to my night stand. Phans take care of phans! <3

I also think this is the day Raphael put on my Christine wig and used the apple as a gavel.

Well we *did* have business to conduct before we could all enjoy ourselves, after all.

But the rest of the night is, once again, a little bit of a fog to me. Really, I don't know how I was still standing up at this point – I thought for sure I was going to pass out – it honestly scared me.

I knew you weren't feeling well, but I had no idea you were that far gone We were all really concerned when we didn't see you after the show.

I sadly packed up the rest of my stuff in the morning, said “hello!” again to the little food I was able to consume the night before (So this was, uh,~24+ hours without any calories for my body to run off of? I think the last full meal I'd had / kept down was Saturday's dinner, LOL) – and headed over to the Venetian to meet Raphael & operfantomet. Operafantomet & I shared a cab ride back to the airport, and by some stroke of luck, we had the same airline, and SAME TERMINAL!

Operafantomet told me she was meeting you that morning to head to the airport, so I made sure to be awake so I could say goodbye and escort you both to the taxi stand. Sick or no, I wasn't going to let you leave without saying goodbye

But I had the time of my life, I'm still alive (thank god – what the h*ll was going on in my crazy head to push myself so much, LOL!) - and I have memories I will hold in my heart forever.

I went down in the elevator, and started to head through the back. Didin't see the entrance to the Venetian garage. So I went up through the front and went through the Venetian and for clarity sake, I went to go find the garage cut through and walk it over to Harrahs just to prove it was that and I wasn't insane. So i walked it back over to Harrahs... and couldn't find my way back So went back up the front way and headed for my room and got off on the wrong floor Realized it right before i knocked on what would have been my door. Yeah that was certainly an interesting night. Heh you should post the Aminta pregnancy pic

See kids? Tequila is your friend (if by "friend" you mean someone who will laugh at you when you faceplant onto the pavement and draw all over your face with a sharpie when you pass out on the couch)

Somebody should have told me about this so I could have called phantom10906 at 7am and yelled "GOOD MORNING!!!!!" into the phone. You know, 'cuz I'm his friend

Wow!!! Thanks, artistkae, for sharing your Vegas experience/adventures with us (esp those of us like myself who couldn't be there)! Reading it all made me feel like I had been there too.
Sorry to hear you were feeling so under the weather while you were there...that's no proper way to feel while in Vegas, and of course human health can be a fragile thing. Hope you're feeling much better now. Oh, and I love some of those photos you posted above -- very nice!
And maybe I'll get to meet you in person at the POTO 25th in NYC in January?
