Whoa. dudes. hi.
So the other day, I found an email from an old friend on musicals.net, and that led me to deciding for one thing that I'm going to find her again (we talked daily, then she vanished off the internet one day and I never saw her again...mysterious) and that led me to remembering phansonline and pfn and all those places I used to haunt back in the day. And then I find this place! And looking through it I see the names of people I remember from forums I remember! That's some cool stuff right there. Or at least cool to me, mainly because I'm quite bored, it's late at night, and I'm a college grad with no life who works at a pet store. Yeah, so much for the glorious oboe playing future I envisioned. /cynicism
Aaaaaanyway. Does anyone remember me? 'Cause I remember a bunch of you chaps.
I still go see Phantom on Broadway once a year. huzzah! And John Cudia rocks my socks.

I remember you! Or at least I remember someone with the username Reverie .
Glad you found us.
And yes, John Cudia is one of my favourite American Phantoms. Jealous of you seeing him live!

Welcome! I think I remember you, as well!
Yay for seeing John -- I also got to see him, back when the US Tour was still running. He was awesome, indeed.
I think it may be a good idea for those of us who are also on other POTO or theatre-related boards to advertise DP a bit. We may find some more POL or PFN/MFN members who don't know about our current hangout yet.

Wow, this is kind of cool. I remember all of you as well o_O I wasn't expecting to wander down these old haunts but I guess it's nice to do so sometimes. To see all the people I remember before going away to college, which was a massive land of suck and fail and disappointment, alas. But I still love Phantom so I guess some things never change
John is amazingggg. Like there are no words, haha.
I was not a fan of Hugh Panaro when I saw him in '05, but I saw him this year and was really surprised to see that I liked him much more this time around. I don't know what he has done between '05 and now, but clearly he (IMHO) improved a great deal in acting and singing (and stopped spitting lol).

I remember you...mostly your username...as soon as I saw it, I thought PFN!!!.
For some reason, it makes me pretty happy to see people from PFN turning up here...I still have a lot of good memories from that place and I'm become good friends with some of the people I met there.

I forgot I was here and then I remembered I was here today! Mostly because yesterday I saw Phantom again and was like, "hmm I need to reconnect with the phans I used to know" or at least the nicer parts of the phandom since I remember so much of it being really mean when I was in high school. Mostly because it was when the movie came out and there were...vast vicious fandom wars. oh dear.
hopefully it's nicer now?

Yup, the vicious stage vs movie wars have been replaced by the vicious original vs sequel wars
But I like to think things are pretty calm here.

Oh lovely. So the wars continue. Oh Phantom fandom, why do you have to be so mean? The wars were one of the main reasons I peaced out, because...I love Phantom, so do you, can we all love together? No, says the phandom, not at all.
But if it's nice here I think I will be very happy! I see old familiar faces, and I really feel like reconnecting to at least some parts of the phandom.

I suppose phans express their feelings passionately when it comes to Phantom. We respect all views here, but many of us aren't shy about expressing an opposing opinion, either. As long as everyone keeps their tempers in check, we're all for a lively debate/discussion.
