"Hannibal" Dance
So last night, just as I do every time I watch the full version of PotO, I was reminded how much I like the music for the "Hannibal" ballet and lamented that there wasn't room on the OLC for it. Do any of the official recordings contain it, in part or entirety? Or is it just perpetually doomed to the cutting-room floor?

A few of them do have it (and I think it's the full one in all cases). All 3 Japanese cast albums have it, as well as the Vienna and Sweden albums. Also the 2-disc movie soundtrack, I suppose, if you wanted to go that route.
Re: "Hannibal" Dance
I'm not that desperate. I shall have to check out the Japanese recordings, though.

In the Swedish one you get the dialogues as well, if I remember correctly. Must admit it's long since i listened to Hannibal from that album, though.

Yes, some of the dialogue was in it, mostly "Daaé? Curious name."
"-Daaé? Konstig namn."
"-Svenska, vallonskt ursprung tror jag".
Or something like that.. Jag måste plugga som Svenska. Djävulens deklinationen!
