Favourite Raoul

Ryan Silverman has really refreshed the role of Raoul for me in the recent year. He made it really clear through his stage actions how much he cares for Christine, how much he needs her, and how jealous he is of the Phantom. I don't necessarily prefer all of his singing choices (which is a personal thing, and in no way meant to be blight against his totally legitimate, and beautiful work), but his voice itself is gorgeous, and his acting is extraordinary. I really felt for his plight throughout the story. Bravo to him.

I need to see this man. It shall add to my 'nice, truly caring' Raoul list.

Will Barratt has my top spot because he took my breath away. Such an generosity of spirit in the role...he gave everything through his Raoul, taking the audience on his journey of love.
