I saw Sarah Lawrence and Kirk Vaughn Robinson (both formerly of the US National Tour) today with the Opera Omaha's production of The Mikado. Brilliant!

I thought Saraw Lawrence was still a Christine understudy in Vegas. But knowing me, she probably left ages ago... Glad you enjoyed their performances!

Earl Carpenter will return to Queen's Theatre for a limited run as Javert. Between 7th - 19th May 2012, because Hadley Fraser will be busy with the Les Mis movie.

Lawrence was a vacation understudy for Hertzenberg, I believe. I think she was only there for a few months. Vegas brought in lots of alumni to cover for vacations/holidays as needed.

In October he will take over the role as the Phantom, his first city will be Edinburgh.

Ted Keegan will perform as a guest artist in the Susquehanna Valley Chorale's Broadway-themed spring pops concert tonight and tomorrow night. Valda Aviks, who played Carlotta in Vienna and UK in the 90's is also in the ensemble.

Ryan Silverman has been announced as playing Maxim de Winter in the Broadway production of "Rebecca".

I'm amused they think Stockholm is in Finland. But then again, Norway is the capital of Sweden, so I guess that makes sense.

Joke aside, would be awesome to hear him live. Does anyone know what repertoire they usually have? I mean, do they do a specific cabaret or show, or do they "just" perform Broadway songs?

Whoa! Did not see that one coming. But how cool. So she went from Carlotta in Hamburg to Madame Giry in Vegas to Madame Giry in Manila. She's international for sure.

Just saw the touring production of "Peter Pan" last night in Dallas with Cathy Rigby as Peter Pan. Brent Barrett (one of the original Las Vegas Phantoms) is playing Mr. Darling / Captain Hook.

It was a fun evening!

Apparently the wonderful Stephen John Davis is in the cast of the new rubbish-looking JCS arena tour in the UK.

Tomas Ambt Kofod, Raoul and Phantom u/s in Copenhagen, did the lead in a Jekyll & Hyde production this spring. He's playing Mr. Y in Copenhagen's "Love Never Dies" next.
