Favorite Megs

Of course I'm starting this thread!

My faves:
- Brianne Kelly Morgan
- Jessi Ehrlich
- Kate Wray

Joint favourites are Lindsey Wise and Emma Harris (although both because they are very similar...)
Then Tori Johns
and finally Anna Cervantes, excellent actress but unfortunately gets drowned out a lot!

Anna Grönros, Hayley Driscoll, Janet Devenish, Brianne Kelly Morgan, Claire Tilling, Annabel Knight and, come to think of it, Jennifer Wagstaffe

Brianne is my top choice.

Joelle Gates would be my other one.

Oh, I totally forgot Joelle! I love her too.

Fav Meg is definitely Nadia Komazec.

Vocally I also love Dunja Siehl, Geralyn del Corso and Patricia Ward.

Brianne hands down. She puts a lot into her performance that you just don't get with most Megs.

In all honestly I never really payed much attention to the Megs I've seen as most of them just seem to go about their business and blend into the background. And most of the ones I saw I didn't care for their singing voices either a whole lot. To be fair I won't put any names of any of those ones I've seen but I don't any I've seen are on any of the favorites lists here.

Then comes along Brianne....You can't help but notice her Meg as she's so expressive. At the same time she's not an over actor who distracts from the leads, instead she enhances the scene. Her voice was good enough at the beginning of her run but it's unbelievable how every single time I've gone back to Vegas there was a noticeable improvement in her voice. They're going to have to hire her as Christine one of these days. - I don't say that to suck up either. If I didn't like her Meg, then I'd just keep quiet.

We should rename this topic into "The Brianne topic"...

Why do I feel like everyone is bias on this one? Thank you all, but I'm sure that there are better Meg's out there.

Raph. LOL! I begin to understand how you got the name "dirty old Phan". LOL

Unfortunately I haven't seen Brianne yet - it's going to be a while before I get to Vegus! So so far, my fave would have to be, and I don't know her name, the girl who was in the U.S. tour when it came to Toronto two years ago. I loved the little touches she added, especially that "always practicing" bit when Mme. Giry calls her away from Christine's dressing room in AOM!

Lindsey Wise was great, such a fantastic bratty Meg.
Naomi Cobby was also good, she had such a lovely voice and was very sweet.
I wasn't fond of Tori Johns though, she was just too tall for my liking. Not that height should make a difference - she had a good voice.

Of the three or four I've seen...have to say Kara Klein

Naomi Cobby and Lindsey Wise. Two very different takes on the role, but both great!

I agree with this choice, plus Hayley Driscoll and Heidi Ann O'Brien.

Naomi Cobby is my favourite, then Lindsey Wise.

I definitely agree with this. However, Lindsey Wise just makes it over Naomi for me. It's difficult to decide though really as they both portray the character in completely different ways.

What's the biggest difference between them? Haven't seen any of them, but cool that two playing the role so close in time and within the same production does it so differently.

Naomi plays a really innocent Meg whereas Lindsey was a more bratty and gutsy Meg. It was really interesting to see them both perform.

I think Naomi probably had a better voice than Lindsey, only slightly mind you. But Lindsey just held the edge over Naomi in the acting department. I adored Lindsey's bratty Meg, she had such attitude and was just... Well, brilliant! They were both fantastic and both completely lovely so I am very pleased I got to see them both several times.

My favorite Meg is Brianne Kelly Morgan. I loved her when I saw her in Vegas.

I've seen Brianne, Rebekah and Jessi. I love a fellow Texan but Brianne was just fantastic. I had a hard time telling Brianne and Rebekah apart
What can I say? We were sitting in the balcony and I forgot my glasses.

I was a big fan of the Meg I was lucky enough to see 2 years ago but I unfortunately cannot remember her name.
