Ah, in that case, perhaps having her sign a bottle of Lotronex would have been appropriate.

When I was a adolescent, I used to live up in the Napa Valley ((I now live down in Ventura, CA)). Well, Corde Medera used to have this huge... I mean HUGE neighborhood garage sale. I was at one house browsing their "wears," and came across Robert Heindel's "I'm Here, I'm Here, I'm Here!" The 3 faces of The Phantom. She wanted $20 for it, but in seeing as though I had such a passion for "The Phantom of the Opera," she sold it to me for $10. That, to date has to be my prized "Phantom" possession!

((And yes, I am a newbie to the forum boards))!

The artist is Jean BĂ©raud. I've always liked it, and I found out that art.co.uk and art.com sell prints of it. Bought one and framed that too.

My family has had a lovely framed print of that painting for years! I had my picture taken in front of it for 'first day of school' or before High School dances and that sort of thing. When I moved in with Jeff my mom gave it to me, and now it's hanging by our front door. Somehow I had never realized it was at Her Majesty's though I'm sure we must have walked past it plenty of times while we lived in London! Interesting Smile

I would grab my bead. I have a singular bead from a costume in phantom, we're not even sure which one. When I was visiting Melodie once, while we were walking off the side of the stage, she found a bead on the ground and pressed it into my hand. It's my most cherished phantom piece of all, despite it's small size.

Oh, but I would cherish such an item too! Where did you see Phantom that time?

New York City. I don't live too far, so thats where I've seen it the most (three times). When Melody Rubie was still in the show I used to go down to see her.

I am now the proud owner of not one but two French first editions of Leroux's original novel from 1910. I already had one but I ended up snapping one up from eBay on my splurge this week...couldn't help myself once I saw it. A bit greedy of me, but... Embarassed

It's actually called "I'm Here, I'm Here, I'm Here," ((as you of course know)), and it's a print from Robert Heindel. As I've made mention before within this form, I actually own a print of this that I've retained from a garage sale. If you want more information, here's the artist's website ((I'm dreadfully sorry that I could not be of anymore rescourse to you, but this is the very best that I can do for you)):

http://www.obod.com/The_Art_of_Robert_Heindel/Originals/Pages/Phantom_of_the_Opera.html

Again, this is the very best that I can do for you. He has also done work for ALW's CATS & Cameron Macintosh's Les Miserables.

But I personally believe his best, by far, and most commerable work(s) are "Phantom" oriented! ((I, myself am still on the "prowl" for Heindel's "The End of Innocents," the one where Christine is reaching for the Phantom's mask? Know where I could potentially retain a copy of this print, and for rather cheap $$$, anyone)??!

Heindel lived unitl 2005 and was born in 1938. I currently don't know much about the artist accept for this, but I am hoping that the website that I am directing you to, can and will be of some rescourse.

Heindel also has a bio page here:

http://www.obod.com/The_Art_of_Robert_Heindel/About.html

Have fun with these links -- if this is what you were looking for... more information on the artist -- and happy "surfing." ((I'm "old school," deal with it))! Very Happy

Just got this back from the framing shop. Floral detailing mirrored the pattern in Lisa's cloak and the blue-silver finish matched the overall color scheme. I think it turned out quite well Smile

What a lovely frame raphael! Very nice indeed...
Oh I do like this thread, my prize objects would be my big, lovely, resin replica mask signed by JOJ, Sofia Escobar, Will Barratt, Rohan Tickell and Liesl Dowsett. My mask is enormous and is way to big for me, but it was my first good quality replica ever so I love it. I also love my pictures of me with JOJ, Sofia Escobar, Will Barratt, Rohan Tickell, Liesl Dowsett, Sierra Boggess and Mark McKerracher + all the autographs in my 25th anniversary brochure. Hopefully I will soon have some more prize possessions to share.

I have a new prized possession and I would like to thank Cape Twirl of Doom for her help. The new addition is a pair of Christine's white Peter Fox shoes that she wears with the dressing gown. The shoes are signed by Sara Jean Ford and they are now the perfect accessory to go with my dressing gown. Very Happy These were sold at the Broadway Flea Market this year. Pictures are below.

As you can see, these shoes were definitely worn a lot. I don't think I've ever seen a pair of shoes in shape quit like these before. However, I think the condition adds to their charm since it shows that these shoes were used in many performances.

Wow, they ARE worn! Shocked But it adds to the story of the shoes.

It looks like the leather sole will be easy enough to glue, which will give the shoe back some of its defined shape. If you're to wear them, maybe adding a protective heel and sole layer would be a good idea too. A shoemaker could probably do a neat job here.

Other than that.... Congrats with a super cool addition to your costume and your collection! Slightly jealous... Smile

The shoes are incredibly tiny so there is no way I could wear them. However, I will probably still take the shoes to be professionally repaired just to give them more stability and a better appearance. I'm a bit shocked that the shoes were ever used on stage in a condition similar to this.

I'm still happy to have them despite their well-used condition. Smile
